Since 1984, the Robert Bosch Stiftung has enabled more than 550 American professionals to gain an in-depth understanding of the political, economic, social, and cultural environment in Germany and Europe, through an intensive eight to eleven-month fellowship program. Fellows participate in a comprehensive professional development program in Germany - from high level professional placements in government and the private sector to attendance at numerous seminars throughout Europe. Candidates are chosen on a competitive basis from the fields of business, economics, journalism, law, public affairs, and cultural management.
